Work started to repair the drains on the corner of London Road and New High Street. It is scheduled to be finished today (Monday).
@theoxfordtrust has circulated 7000 copies of a leaflet in Quarry and parts of Headington setting out their vision for the Stansfeld site.
The traffic lights on the A40 at Sandhills/Thornhll (aka ‘Headington’ according to the BBC) are the worst in the Thames Valley Police region for drivers jumping the red light, apparently.
Estate agent Connell’s is moving from their small premises next to the ‘coffin alley’ and Bury Knowle Park into the larger shop vacated by Allen & Harris.
Nothing seems to be happpening in the shop next to the closed Post Office that used to be BBB Stores. There’s been no sign of activity since some display cabinets were delivered many weeks ago. The rumour at the time was that it is (was?) going to be a butchers.
